Oh Lil Christmas Tree: 2026’s Official Tree Skirt

On By 18cinemalane

You probably read the title of this post and wondered, “Why isn’t Sally introducing a new ornament for her Oh Lil Christmas Tree project this year”? You may have also seen the Halloween publication date and thought, “Why is Sally publishing a Christmas post on Halloween”? Since 2020, I have annually debuted a new ornament or Christmas tree decoration that represents something related to 18 Cinema Lane, as part of my Christmas themed project. For 2026, I decided to do something different. Halloween is a holiday I’ve acknowledged several times on my blog. My very first milestone double feature was Halloween themed, when I reviewed The Case of the Whitechapel Vampire and Queen of the Damned. Two editorials were published on Halloween; my article about the toxic relationship of Top Dollar and Myca from The Crow and my editorial about Eddie Munson (from Stranger Things) and Harris Trinsky (from Freaks and Geeks) being two sides of the same coin. I even reviewed hoops&yoyo’s Haunted Halloween and posted that review on Halloween. With all that said, I chose to introduce this adorable Halloween tree skirt! This piece of décor came at the right time, as a new tree skirt was much needed in my blog’s Christmas tree decoration collection.

Perhaps this is the start of more Halloween themed decorations to be introduced in my Oh Lil Christmas Tree project? Screenshot taken by me, Sally Silverscreen.
As you can see in this picture, 18 Cinema Lane’s Christmas tree isn’t decorated yet. That’s because, in my opinion, it’s a little too early to start decorating the tree. Screenshot taken by me, Sally Silverscreen.
Here’s a close-up shot of the Halloween tree skirt, to give readers a better view of what it looks like under the tree. Screenshot taken by me, Sally Silverscreen.

Have fun on Halloween!
