Originally, I was going to publish my 255 blog follower dedication review. While I still plan on posting this review, I decided to publish a Word on the Street story instead. In one of last month’s Word on the Street articles, I announced two Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series, Crossword Mysteries and Chronicle Mysteries, were either filming a new chapter or were about to film a new chapter. It looks like these two series are not the only ones to receive a new movie. On Creative B.C., the filming schedule for an upcoming Aurora Teagarden Mysteries and Mystery 101 film were posted! ‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: How To Con A Con’ will start filming on November 6th and end on November 24th. Even though the movie’s synopsis is not known at this time, I hope it is about comic conventions, based on the listed title. Meanwhile, ‘Mystery 101: Movie 6 – Killer Timing’ just started filming on November 2nd and will conclude on November 20th. Like I said about Crossword Mysteries and Chronicle Mysteries in October, these films in the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries and Mystery 101 series will likely premiere in 2021, based on their filming schedules.

What are your thoughts on this announcement? Are you looking forward to any of these films? Tell me in the comment section!
Have fun at the movies!
Sally Silverscreen
Here is the link to the TV Movie ‘In Production’ page on Creative B.C.’s website (after November 20th and 24th, ‘Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: How To Con A Con’ and ‘Mystery 101: Movie 6 – Killer Timing’ will be removed from the page): https://www.creativebc.com/crbc-services/provincial-film-commission-services/in-production
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for the Mystery 101 up date………it is one of the best Hallmark Mysteries to be produced in AGES. I HOPE HALLMARK CONTINUES TO PRODUCE THIS PRODUCT WITH JILL WAGNER & KRISTOFFER POLAHA AS THE STARS.

So glad to hear about a new Mystery 101,The movies are well written, well acted…no VERY WELL ACTED, BY WAGNER & POLAHA. Hopefully Hallmark will stay with a winning series & a winning cast. This is a series that isn’t “sappy” and can be enjoyed by the entire family not just a few female members. Both main characters are believable, supported by the extended cast, and deliver dialog that is “real for the situation”. Thank you for the update, looking forward to the new episode and more to follow.

I was also really glad to hear of a new Mystery 101 movie as that is my favorite mystery series. I have a concern that maybe you can address. I have looked in imdb.com for information about this new movie (“Killer Timing”) and found Jill Wagner listed as a character but not Kristoffer Polaha. When you saw the Production sheets, did you notice a list actors? No one else from the other five Mystery 101 movies is listed on imdb.com either. Could they be trying to see how Mystery 101 runs without Travis Burke? I hope not.

Thank you for addressing your concerns, Nancy. When a film is listed on Creative B.C.’s website, a cast will not be featured. I did check out that IMDB page you were talking about. Since the movie still doesn’t have a release date, my guess is the page hasn’t been updated. When Hallmark does give the next ‘Mystery 101’ film a premiere date, we’ll know more information about that project.

Aurora Teagarden, Can’t keep up with who she’s engaged to. Seems to be bumped off the series every year. Please don’t make them any younger than she is????

Thanks for checking out my article, Charlie! Aurora is engaged to Niall Matter’s character, Nick. From what I can tell, they seem to be around the same age.

Thank you for answering my previous question so quickly. I have another one, if that is okay.
You were correct, of course, that more information would be forthcoming about Mystery 101:Killer TIming. Now that the additional information is available, I have noticed that John Christian Plummer is not the writer for this mystery as he had been for the other 5. Do you have any information about why the change in writers or what impact that change will have on the storyline and characters?
Nancy

Thanks again for your question, Nancy. I just checked IMDB and John Christian Plummer’s name is listed among the writers for ‘Mystery 101: Killer Timing’. Because of his consistent involvement with this series, I’m pretty sure the storyline and characters are going to remain consistent as well.

Love all the Aora Teagarden movie. Can’t wait to see the new one. Jill Wagner in Mystery 101 are great. Chronicle is very good. Lacey Chabert in Crossword is wonderful. Kelly Martin is great. The only one I really don’t like is the one Ms Keller is in. Sign, sealed and delivered is so inspiring. Keep the good ones coming. Forgot about Martha Vineyard it great too.

The movie How To Con a Con by the Author of the Aurora Teagarden Murder Mysteries has been repeatedly shown. How many book’s are there? And the Murder She Baked. Show Strawberry Shortcake Murder and Lemon Meringue Pie Murder show the order of the books into Movie form – written by Joanne Fluke. Also bring on Michelle Swensen and her boyfriend Lonnie.
